The first episode of SBS6's home renovation show "De Grote Huisverbouwing" (hosted by Patty Brard) only drew 193.000 viewers (market share: 5.5%) on October 24th. Other networks scored better viewing figures: Studio Sport on NPO 1 (620.000 viewers/market share: 17%), Podium Witteman on NPO 2 (272.000 viewers/market share: 6.9%) and RTL Boulevard on RTL 4 (725.000 viewers/market share: 16.4%).
Patty's new program was meant to replace the Grand Designs series (aka De Grote verbouwing) on SBS6 and to boost TV ratings. On October 17th, Grand Designs New Zealand (aka Grote Verbouwing Nieuw Zeeland) attracted more viewers than La Brard's show: 329.000 viewers (market share: 10.6%). Once again, a program hosted by the former Luv' singer has not reached the desired results.
