On the April 5th broadcast of "Aran on Tour", a section of RTL 4's infotainment news show "RTL Boulevard", the diva revealed that she left "Shownieuws". Her contract expired on March 1st and was not renewed. Since January 2007, Miss Brard has been active on this popular SBS6 program, with two hiatuses (2011-2013 and 2017-2019). Shownieuws kept her busy the most on the small screen in recent years. "I left for a while. I'm in Ibiza for the time being," Patty told the interviewer Aran Bade. "I love all my colleagues," she added without mentioning the behind-the-scenes tensions at Shownieuws (including the problems with the editorial staff in 2011 and her feud with some co-workers (Guido den Aantrekker, Frits Huffnagel, Airen Mylene...).
Despite her discreet departure from "Shownieuws", the larger-than-life media personality bounces back. "I just got a call for a new format from Amazon Prime. Then I thought: that's nice. I'll think about it," Patty said.

Patty Brard to celebrate her 70th birthday with a Panter Party at Ziggo Dome in 2025
Next year, the ex-SBS6 star will turn seventy on March 25th, 2025. The Prima Donna made a special announcement on March 22nd: she will celebrate her seventieth birthday with a "Panter Party" at the Amsterdam Ziggo Dome on March 14th, 2025. Patty did not rule out a reunion with her ex-Luv' colleagues, Marga Scheide and José Hoebee. "We are busy working on this party, and a reunion would be fantastic," she told the ANP, the largest news agency in the Netherlands. But a performance of the original Luv' trio seems out of the question due to Patty's feud with the other ex-group members and José's constant ill health.
Goldstar Music released "Panter Feest", the anthem for "Patty's Panter Party", on digital platforms. This song is reminiscent of "U.O.Me" by Luv'.
