On August 29th, Talpa TV (which owns SBS6, Veronica and Net5) presented its new programs for the 2024-2025 season. As a freelancer, Patty Brard attended this presentation and discussed her latest TV project, "Charmes in de Strijd", which will premiere on Net5 on October 14th. In this reality show, six men and six women embark on a journey through Sardinia. Along the way, they must complete tasks. The winners will receive 100,000 euros.

After she departs from "Shownieuws" on SBS6 and the success of the Videoland series based on her life earlier this year, this new show marks Patty's comeback as a TV host.
When Broadcast Magazine asked Patty why she accepted to present "Charmes in the Strijd", the diva answered: "Because I'm fond of reality TV. When I knew about the preparations for this reality show, where dating was not the key point, I thought: "Well, that's exciting! Let's see what's going to happen!" People travel by car every day with someone else. They vote each other off. They learn to know each other in the car. Sometimes, they fall in love, although they are not supposed to fall in love. Women vote men off, and men vote women off. It's fascinating to witness what happened in a car".
"Even if you don't like reality TV, you can consider this program a travel show. I watched the first episode, and the shots in Sardinia were excellent. It's a beautiful place to drive," Patty added.
"I like to decide what I want to do and when. When you appear on "Shownieuws" as an entertainment expert, you have to be involved in showbiz and present programs on TV. I'm taking dancing and singing lessons because of the Panther Party next year. Other things are planned for the end of the year and the beginning of the next one. I'm not allowed to talk about it. The only thing I can say is that I'm happy to prepare my daughter's wedding, which will take place on September 21st. And that's the most important thing right now," the ex-Luv' singer explained.

Moreover, Dutch singer and media personality Gordon was present during Talpa's presentation, due to the forthcoming broadcast of his reality series "Dit Ben Ik: Gordon!" on SBS6. After years of tensions between the flamboyant male celebrity and La Brard, the two personalities were recently reconciled. The duo took part in a travel show in search of eternal youth on SBS6 just before the Covid-19 pandemic. They were supposed to co-host a talk show on the same channel, but this project never materialized.

Before Talpa's event, Pat and Goor already bumped into each other in Blaricum, the Netherlands. Patty was on her way to "Patisserie Rémy". "We ran into each other in Blaricum when I was on my way to the bakery with my daughter to order her wedding cake, I walked right into his arms, and then we both started laughing really hard. And then I said: "We have two choices. Either we can talk things out or just start fresh". And I choose to do the latter because otherwise, you get into details where I think: I don't even remember what it was all about," Patty told Shownieuws.
