Among the items Patty and her team discussed:
- The love affair between the journalist Tahmina Akefi and the late Peter R. de Vries, crime reporter who died last year after being shot. Doubts have arisen over the relationship between the two journalists. Tahmina Akefi told her love story with Peter R. de Vries started after their interview on VARA's talk show "Pauw" in 2015. Kees van der Spek, one of De Vries' best friends, told Omroep MAX he never saw the lovebirds together while the charismatic crime reporter was alive. Miss Akefi is about to publish a tell-all book including details about her bond with De Vries. Other Dutch gossip columnists had doubts about their romance. Here's what Patty Brard said: "Tahmina says she is saddened that her integrity is being questioned and that she and Peter already started this book and that she will not respond to allegations until the book is in stores. She may feel like she prefers to wait a bit until the book sells well".
- The preparations for the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II. Patty said about Prince Williams' children: "I love these kids. It doesn't surprise anyone. It is said that Little George will be present tomorrow. Royal advisors told Kate and William to let George participate in the funeral. It would be a nice symbol for the British people. William and Harry had to be present at their mother's funeral. The circumstances were different then. It felt like a little trauma to them. They don't know if they are going to do it. It would be nice if the children participated. I'm sure they were told that their grandmother was "an old lady". So they were prepared. Death is part of life".
