The former Luv' singer will officiate her daughter Priscilla's wedding in September. The diva will fulfil this particular task as a "BABS", which stands for "Buitengewoon Ambtenaar van de Burgerlijke Stand" in Dutch (Marriage officiant).

Priscilla was opposed to marriage for a long time. Patty and the bride-to-be were not in contact for eleven years until they reconnected four years ago.

Priscilla Nasi, who recently celebrated her 41st birthday, will marry Kevin van Ree.

De Telegraaf's June 23rd online version featured an interview with mother and daughter discussing the wedding in its entertainment news section.

"I'm so honoured that they asked me for this. It was the couple's wish after I had already heard from people around them: we want to ask Mom for this. Do you think she would want to do it? Of course, I want to; it will be a highlight of my life", Patty said.

Priscilla Nasi was born on July 23rd, 1983, in Los Angeles, California, to a Dutch mother (media personality Patty Brard) and an Italian father (record producer/music publisher and one of the heirs to the FIAT empire Carlo Nasi).

"My father is coming over from Milan, and it's the first time in a long time that I'll see my parents together again. He's been with his new wife for 36 years; you can't call her 'new' anymore, haha. But she and Mom have never met. That will be interesting, although they might get along well. Kevin and my father don't know each other either, but that will happen before the wedding. Carlo's health has been lacking in recent years, so it hasn't happened yet. First, there was COVID, then something else, but we'll fly to Italy soon. Or dad will come to the Netherlands, and we'll have a nice meal together. I've known Kev for 24 years, which says something. It's not an impulsive decision," Priscilla told De Telegraaf.

When asked if her mother would interfere much with the preparations for the wedding, the future bride answered: "Yes, luckily. She knows how to handle these things, of course. She already has a vision for the floral decorations and the designer for the dress. We've been looking at locations at the College Hotel in Amsterdam together. It's wonderful to be able to do this together now. We're keeping it small and intimate, but it's still a lot of work."

On June 23rd, Patty announced the good news on her social media:

  • Patty Brard @ Canal Parade

The diva and other Dutch celebrities participated in the Canal Parade as part of the Amsterdam Pride on August 3rd. La Brard sailed on the RTL group's boat during the festive event with Gerard Joling, Peter van der Vorst, Renze Klamer, Soy Kroon, Loiza Lamers and Kees Tol.

Her presence on this ship raised questions among media experts. Does it mean that she is about to sign a new exclusive contract with RTL? Does she have new plans with the TV network? Earlier this year, the series based on her life was a success on RTL's streaming platform Videoland, which explains her attendance on the same boat as RTL stars.

For nearly a year and a half, Patty has been working as a freelancer again on television after the end of her exclusive contract with Talpa TV (owner of SBS6). In March, she left the entertainment news show 'Shownieuws,' where she worked as a showbiz expert for many years. This fall, she will appear on the psychological reality show 'Charmes in de Strijd', which will air on NET5 (SBS6's sister channel).
