[Z]aan Tafel gala

On March 16th, the former Luv' singer hosted the [Z]aan Tafel gala in aid of breast cancer research at De Stoomhal in Wormer, the Netherlands. This event generated a proceeds of more than € 105,000.

Story

The April 5th edition of Story magazine featured an article about Chimène. The TV presenter explained that her 20-year-old son Lyam supported her when she got breast cancer for the third time. After her remission in late 2021, her father and mother passed away. "During this terrible time, Lyam was a great support to me. He had already left home, but I could always count on him," she said.

Shortly after Lyam's birth in 2003, Chimène's relationship with the billionaire Laurens Last, the father of her son, ended. There was any contact with Laurens for years, but now father and son have built up a bond. “Currently, Lyam spends a lot of time with his dad. I miss him, but also my parents. Now I'm on my own,” the multi-talented lady added.

No Alpe d'HuZes

On June 1st, the larger-than-life Dutch celebrity posted a message on social media in which she explained that she had to cancel her participation in the Alpe d'HuZes, a sporting event in aid of cancer research. One of the reasons she cancelled was that her team of cycling women fell apart due to the ill health of some of the members. Chimène didn't want to take on the challenge all by herself. However, she keeps training on her bike and hopes to participate in the Alpe d'HuZes next year.
